On February 10 at 12:00 a.m., the assistant of the Chair of Veterinary Biomedicine and Food Hygiene Elisabeth Dorbek-Kolin will defend her dissertation "Cryptosporidium spp. prevalence, relationship with the general inflammatory response, faecal microbiota and halofuginone lactate treatment in calves" to apply for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Veterinary Science.

Elisabeth's supervisor is Professor Toomas Orro, and the opponent is Professor Karim Tarik Adjou of the National Veterinary School of Alfort from France.

The public defence session will be held in the room A-201, Kreutzwaldi 62.

Brief summaries of the dissertation are attached to the letter, and the dissertation will soon be available in the university's digital archive EMU DSpace.

On behalf of the Doctorate Defence Committee of the veterinary science and food science curriculum, I invite everyone to attend the public defence and support Elisabeth.

On behalf of the Defence Committee,
