Applicants for the doctoral studies at the Estonian University of Life Sciences (hereinafter, EMÜ) are expected to hold a Master degree (MSc) or equivelent. The doctoral studies cover four years leading to the award of a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
We offer two PhD programs (Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Food Science). The PhD program covers 160 credits (240 ECTS). The program includes basic academic courses and completion of the PhD thesis under the guidence of a supervisor from one of the institutes of the EMÜ.
