Promoting Veterinary Higher Education in Uzbekistan
The BUzNet project is designed to promote the improvement of Veterinary Higher Education in Uzbekistan. It involves eight higher education institutions (four European and four Uzbeks) and six partner entities with the stated goal of increasing the teaching and learning standards in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnical Engineering in that country of Central Asia, in order to provide better technical support to breeders and to ensure the arrival of safer livestock products on the market.
Teachers from Uzbek higher education institutions will be trained at European universities that are part of this consortium in order to learn about new veterinary practices and to learn new methodologies of practical teaching using blended learning (or b-learning) strategies.
