A group of veterinary students from the International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) chapters in Estonia and the Netherlands gathered at the Estonian University of Life Sciences’ Equine Clinic as part of a cultural exchange program organized by Hyraco.
The initiative aimed to foster international cooperation and mutual learning among future veterinary professionals.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to explore the clinic's facilities, engage with equine veterinarians, and gain insights into the clinical and educational aspects of veterinary medicine in Estonia. The exchange enabled students to better understand differences and similarities between veterinary practices in different countries.
"Events like this enrich the student experience and help establish meaningful international connections that may lead to future academic or professional collaborations," said one of the organizers.
In addition to gaining professional knowledge, participants built lasting friendships—one of the core values promoted by the IVSA network.
