Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences

The Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences is organized on the basis of chairs, where each chair is responsible for the development of its field in research, teaching, and development activities.

  • Chair of Veterinary Biomedicine and Food Hygiene
  • Chair of Aquaculture

The structure of the Institute also includes:

  • The Veterinary Clinic of the Estonian University of Life Sciences
  • The University Pharmacy
  • Märja Cattle Farm (managed by Eerika Farm Ltd)

The Institute is responsible for the continuous development of its fields, covering the entire food production chain – from animal and aquaculture farming to the production of safe and high-quality food.
