A total of 195 new students are beginning their studies at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences of the Estonian University of Life Sciences this academic year. In addition to bachelor's, master's and veterinary medicine students, seven new doctoral students are joining the Institute.
At the bachelor's level, 24 students are starting in Animal Science, 31 in Circular Bioeconomy, and 30 in Food Technology. A total of 71 new students are beginning their studies in Veterinary Medicine, with 36 enrolled in the Estonian-language programme and 35 in the English-language programme.
At the master's level, 16 students are starting in Animal Science and 16 in Food Science and Technology.
Seven new doctoral students are beginning their studies at the Institute. Three were admitted to the doctoral programme in Agricultural Sciences and four to the doctoral programme in Veterinary Medicine and Food Science.
