Dr. Felipe Corrêa, Head of EMU Equine Clinic, recently visited Grosbois Equine Clinic in France as part of a prestigious 2-week AO VET fellowship. During his stay, Dr. Corrêa engaged in advanced orthopedic and musculoskeletal training as well as upper airway surgery, collaborating with leading veterinary surgeons at Grosbois.
This fellowship provided him with invaluable hands-on experience in cutting-edge surgical techniques and treatments, enhancing his expertise and contributing to the continuous professional development of equine veterinary care. As part of the requirements for taking part of this fellowship, Felipe participated in the AO VET course in Principles of Equine Fracture Management in Berlin, as well as AO VET course in Advanced Equine Fracture and Arhtordesis in Davos, both in 2023.
